Enabling Accrued and Hourly annual leave

Enabling Accrued and Hourly annual leave % rule, Hourly Leave, Part-Time Leave, Irregular Hours

HRLocker offers 3 options for calculating and displaying annual leave

  • Daily Allocation - Default leave system, already active for all companies
  • Hourly Allocation - needs to be activated
  • Hourly Accrual (percentage rule) - Needs to be activated

To enable Hourly and Accrued leave for your company it first needs to be activated in your company settings

  • Log in as an Admin
  • Click on the Settings button on the Black Ribbon
  • Click on the Company tab in the Green ribbon
  • Scroll down to the end of the company settings page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tick the box to enable hourly accrued leave for the company

  • Once the setting is enabled for the company, it also needs to be enabled for each office that it applies to
  • Click on the Settings button on the Black Ribbon
  • Click on the Offices Tab
  • Select the settings dropdown menu next to your office
  • Choose 'Time Off' from this dropdown

  • Press submit to save the change
  • Now you will be able to assign hourly or accrued leave to any employee at this office
  • Repeat the last step for any other offices that require it
