How to Enable and Manage Different Annual Leave Calculations in HRLocker

HRLocker offers three options for calculating and displaying annual leave:
  • Daily Allocation
  • Hourly Allocation
  • Hourly Accrual (percentage rule).

The Daily Allocation is the default system, while Hourly Allocation and Hourly Accrual need to be activated. Here’s how to enable and manage these settings in HRLocker.

Enabling Hourly and Accrued Leave for Your Company

Step 1: Activate in Company Settings

  • Log in as an Admin:

    • Log in to your HRLocker account.
  • Navigate to Company Settings:

    • Select Account
  • Enable Hourly Accrued Leave:

    • Scroll down to the bottom of the company settings page.
    • Tick the box to Allow annual leave accrual option for the company.
    • Click Save to save the change.


Step 2: Enable for Each Office


  • Select Office Settings:

    • Select the settings dropdown menu next to your office.
    • Choose Time Off from the dropdown.
    • Scroll to the bottom of the page and tick Allow annual leave accrual option.
  • Save Changes:

    • Click Submit to save the changes.
  • Repeat for Other Offices:

    • Repeat the last step for any other offices that require the hourly or accrued leave settings.


Assigning Accrued Leave to an Employee

Once the setting is enabled for the company and the relevant offices, you will be able to assign hourly or accrued leave to any employee at those offices.
