Getting Started with HRLocker: A Guide for New Employees

Step 1: Receive Your Invitation

  • Upon being hired, you will receive an invite email with instructions on how to access HRLocker. This email will be sent to you once you are ready to start working.

Step 2: Log In to HRLocker

  • Follow the instructions in your invitation email to log in to HRLocker for the first time.

Step 3: Complete Your Profile

  • Fill in your personal details and ensure your profile information is accurate. This includes your contact information and any other relevant personal data.

Step 4: Review Your Annual Leave Entitlement

  • You will see the number of annual leave days you are entitled to. If you have any questions or need adjustments, contact your HR department.
  • If you need to request any leave or record any sick leave, check out the forms in your Time Off page for how to do these.

Step 5: Start Date Confirmation

  • Confirm your official start date in the system. This date is essential for tracking your employment records and benefits.

Step 6: Familiarize Yourself with CPD Items

  • Any Continuing Professional Development (CPD) items assigned to you will be transferred with you if you move offices within the company.

Step 7:  Check your HR Docs section and read and sign any documents that are waiting to be signed

  • Non essential documents do not need to be signed, but you should take the time to read anything in the Essential section.

Step 8: Add your emergency contacts information

  • Please make sure you have added the necessary information in your Emergency Contacts page at the bottom of your Summary page

Step 9: Check your timesheets.

  • Click on Time On on the nav bar. Your working hours may be pre-populated in here, check if they are correct and if they they are wrong, let your manager know.
  • If you're using clock in timesheets, familiarise yourself with the clock-in options whether it's on the website, a mobile app, or a kiosk in your workplace.

Step 10:  Explore Features

  • Take the time to explore additional features and tools available in HRLocker that may assist you in your daily tasks and professional development.
