How to change from Manager to Employee

How to change role from Manager to Employee and additional steps to successfully do a role change

Must Do Before Steps

Before going through the steps, download the directory export (shown below) and look for any employees that are reporting to the manager you are changing to an employee. If there are employees reporting to the manager, you will be prompted with an error message and the role change will not go through.


Steps to Change the Role from Manager to Employee

  • Login as administrator
  • Select Directory from the black ribbon.
  • Select the View button for the manager you wish to update.

  • On the Summary Page, update the “This User is” to “A Regular Employee”.
  • Click Submit on the bottom-right side of the page to update the change.
