How to record Sick leave as an employee

 

Recording Sick Leave in HRLocker

Employees have the ability to record their own sick leave directly within HRLocker. This process does not require approval, making it straightforward and efficient. Follow these steps to log your sick leave:

How to Record Your Sick Leave

  1. Navigate to the Time Off Section:

    • From your HRLocker dashboard, go to the Time Off section. This is where you can manage and view all your leave types.
  2. Select Record Sick Leave:

    • Click on Record Sick Leave to open the sick leave recording form.
  3. Specify the Duration:

    • Select the Duration: Choose the start and end date and time of your sick leave. This can range from a few hours to several days, depending on your needs.
  4. Attach Sick Certificates (if applicable):

    • If you have any medical certificates or documentation, you can attach them here. This is particularly useful if your company requires documentation for longer periods of sick leave.
    • Check the box to attach a Certificate and upload your files. You can add multiple certificates if needed.
  5. Add a Note (optional):

    • You have the option to add a note to provide additional context or information about your leave. This could include reasons for the sick leave or any specific instructions for your team.
  6. Save Your Sick Leave Record:

    • After filling out the necessary details, save your sick leave entry. It will now be recorded and visible in the system.

Viewing Your Sick Leave Log

  • Once recorded, your sick leave will appear in the Sick Leave Log. This log keeps a detailed record of all your sick leave entries.
  • You can review your past sick leave entries here at any time, including the dates, duration, and any attached certificates or notes.
