This feature is especially useful in situations where employees are unable to record their own leave. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use this feature.

Steps for Managers/Admins to Record Sick Leave

  • Access the Time Off Section:

    • Log in to your HRLocker account.
    • Navigate to the Time Off section.
  • Select the Employee:

    • Choose the employee’s name from the dropdown menu. 
  • Record Sick Leave:

    • Click on Record Sick Leave.
    • A form will appear where you can enter the details of the sick leave.
  • Select Sick Leave Type:

    • As a manager or admin, you will see a list of all sick leave types assigned to the employee’s office.
    • Select the appropriate sick leave type from this list.
  • Enter Sick Leave Details:

    • Specify the duration of the leave (start date and end date).
    • Add any relevant notes regarding the leave.
  • Attach a Certificate (if applicable):

    • If there is a medical certificate or other documentation related to the sick leave, you can attach it by clicking the Attach Certificate button.
    • Upload the certificate from your device.
  • Submit the Sick Leave:

    • Once all details are filled in and any necessary certificates are attached, click Submit to record the sick leave.
