Note: To change the allocation for the new leave year you will need to wait until the start of the new year. You can edit an employee's annual leave allocation starting from the first day of the new annual leave year.
Note: You can create a new line for an employee's annual leave allocation if changes are needed during the leave year by clicking "Add New Holiday Entitlement Rate." To modify the start date of the new leave entitlement, adjust the end date of the previous line and submit.
Accessing the Employees Directory Summary Page
Log in to your HRLocker account.
Navigate to the directory.
Select the employee and on their summary page edit Annual Leave
Adjusting Allocation for the New Leave Year
(example 1Jan-31 Dec)
Adjustments for the new leave year will automatically generate a new line on January 1st.
Note: Changes made within the leave year require creating a new line and adjusting the end date of the previous allocation.
After January 1st:
The system will automatically generate a new line for the employee's leave allocation on the first day of the new year.
This new line will be green as it is now the active allocation.
Input the revised leave days or hours for the new year and submit the changes.
Once submitted, the system will update the employee's annual leave allocation for the year accordingly.
Updating Leave Allocation within the Leave Year
Creating a New Line for Allocation Changes:
Click on "Add New Holiday Entitlement Rate" if changes are required during the leave year.
This creates a new line.
To change the start date of the new leave entitlement, adjust the end date of the previous line and submit the changes.
Edit the allocation and submit.
You will now have multiple lines for the same leave year and the employees Time Off graph will reflect the new allocations.
