Creating Work Pattern Rotations in HR Locker: A Step-by-Step Guide

Work pattern rotations offer flexibility and efficiency in managing employee schedules, ensuring smooth operations and optimal resource utilization. In HR Locker, creating and assigning rotations is a straightforward process. Follow this comprehensive guide to navigate through each step seamlessly.

Creating Work Pattern Rotations

  • Access Work Pattern Rotations Page: 

    HRLocker Admins and managers with settings permissions can create Work pattern rotations

    • Navigate to the "Company Work Patterns" section.
    • Click on the "Work Pattern Rotations" option.
  • Initiate Rotation Creation:

    • On the Work Pattern Rotations page, you'll find an option to "+ Add New Work Pattern Rotations."
    • Click on this option to start creating a new rotation.
  • Configure Rotation Details:

    • Provide a descriptive name for the rotation in the designated input field.
    • The configuration page will display two initial rows labelled "Week 1" and "Week 2."
    • Use the "Add Week" button to include additional weeks.
    • Company Work pattern are available to select from the dropdown menus.
    • Choose the appropriate work pattern for each week.
  • Save Rotation:

    • After configuring the rotation details, click on the "Save" button to finalize the setup.
    • A confirmation message will indicate successful creation, and the rotation will be stored in the system.
  • Assign
    • The saved Work Pattern rotation can be now be assigned to employees

    Editing existing work patterns.

    • To be clear. Editing a work pattern is not possible. Work patterns can be re-assigned.
    • Work patterns can not be edited once their are assigned, the times and working days are locked.
    • If you created a work pattern with an error, you can archive it and delete it
    • If you need to change an employee's work pattern, you need to assign a different work pattern to them
    • The reason for this, is that work patterns are shared amongst many offices and employees, and editing one could have unforeseen consequences affecting other employees employment records.
